What types of wood do you use?

One of the fun aspects of shopping in person at our Floyd, VA shop is that you may find toys made from a variety of woods. We source our wood in several ways, from purchasing lumber, to harvesting wood on our own farm, to gratefully accepting wood that has been discarded or shared with us by others, including supplies from Red Tail Furniture and Goods.

While the majority of our pieces are made from white pine, you may find other wood types depending on what we have in stock.

Are you hiring?

We are so excited to be seen as a great place to work. I mean, we thought this idea sounded fun too, right!

While we are not currently hiring, we may be in the future and always welcome excitement for what we are building at TGWTC!
